Marvel Universe Greatest Threats Which MCU has not introduced till now

The Marvel Cinematic Universe officially kicked off way back in 2008 with the release of Iron-Man. This pretty set up the entire universe, giving rise to franchises like those of Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man and many other popular superheroes. Over the course of the next few years, we would see these characters appearing in each other's franchises, thus solidifying the entire concept of a shared universe. It has been close to 14 years from when the MCU started, and with the latest announcements of projects, it looks like it will continue at least until 2023.

The first ten years of the MCU saw all the movies being carefully presented in a way that they all lead to a single point. Each franchise had a common link connecting it to the others, all pointing towards one inescapable destiny. This period of the MCU is known as the Infinity Saga, which culminated in the showdown against the Mad Titan Thanos in Avengers Infinity War. As mentioned before, there was a common element connecting all the twenty something films that had come out up until then, these being the Infinity Stones. The stones were said to have powers capable of destroying our Earth, and were thus the cause of countless wars and fights. The most noticeable ones being those in Avengers and The Guardians of the Galaxy. Again, the villains in these movies were also working for the same being. That being Thanos. We see Thanos making an appearance in some of the Movies, like Avengers and The Guardians Of the Galaxy, with the single objective of obtaining the Infinity Stones. All this reaches its conclusion in Infinity War, when Thanos finally collects all six Infinity Stones and manages to snap away half of the universe including many of our heroes from existence. In Avengers Endgame, however, we see what remains of the Avengers take on Thanos again, this time coming out on top. Thanks to Iron Man’s sacrifice. Again, we see the power of the Infinity Stones put into display. And with someone as powerful as Thanos wielding them, the treat faced by the entire world is definitely grave. But Thanos is not the only threat that the Marvel Universe’s threat, and here we take a look at some of the greatest extinction level threats in the Marvel Universe.

Loki season one got the introduction to the multiverse and also introduces the concepts of variants. We got to see various loki variants. In season finale villain "He Who Remains" a Kang the conqueror variant.

Marvel’s Mephisto

These are some of the greatest threats faced by the Marvel Universe, but surprisingly the MCU has only introduced us to two so far. Thanos and the Infinity Stones. In Marvel Comics' Captain America Annual #1, Steve Rogers reviews the Abaddon Index - a SHIELD file that identifies the most dangerous threats to exist in the Marvel universe. These include Thanos and the Infinity Stones; Galactus, Shuma-Gorath; The devil Mephisto; the mutant supremacist Apocalypse; and an unseen sixth entry. These are only the Thanos-scale enemies, the villains who are supposed to be considered extinction-level threats.
